Directions to Cobaw from Bacchus Marsh.

From Bacchus Marsh access C 704 to Gisborne.
Follow C704 about 23K to Bullarengarook, past the CFA and recreation reserve on the right hand side, and about another 1.7k, turn left onto Waterloo Flat  Road.
A further 3K, turn right onto Trott Road, and then 1.5K turn right onto Dixons Road.
Follow Dixons Road for 1.3K, and you will pass Macedon Grammar on your RHS, and then turn left onto Bailey Road. Follow Bailey Road to Blackwood Road, and turn right.
Follow Blackwood Road and you will pass under the Calder Freeway about 1K, and then a further 1.4K arrive at the intersection with Black Forest Drive C.792, at the “Foodies” Service Station.
Turn left onto Black Forest Drive and follow it down about 2.4K  to the Calder Freeway, turn right onto the Freeway and follow it to the Carlsruhe exit.

Take the Carlsruhe off ramp, turn right, follow the sign to ‘Carlsruhe, Lancefield’ and pass back over the freeway.
 Once over the freeway, turn left onto ‘Cobb & Co. Road’, and follow for 1K. - There is a BP on the LHS.
Turn right onto the Lancefield Road, and follow for 1K.
Turn left onto Chases Lane and follow for 4.1K. - Pass Pond Cottage at 2.9K.
Turn right onto ‘Pipers Creek Road’ and follow for 7.3K. You pass through the hamlet of Pipers Creek -2K- and follow the road around to the left - here it becomes the ‘Baynton Road’. You then pass the estates of Springvale, Rosebery Hill, and Loxley Vineyard, and arrive at the intersection of the Kyneton-Baynton road. There is an old farm house on the left at this intersection.
Turn right onto the Kyneton - Baynton road and follow for 2.8K. You cross Jews Harp Creek - 2.3K.
At the rise following Jews Harp Creek turn right, and then left, onto Prendergasts Lane, and follow for 4K. -Do not turn into Perc Boyers Lane-3.6K.
You arrive at  the gate of ‘Cobaw’.

Follow the drive to the first cottage.
